Clinic Policy on short notice cancellations & forgetting to keep
appointments:
Harmony Health are dedicated to providing services that get you back on
track as soon as possible, and stay there. This requires a commitment on your part to help us help you.
Breaking a scheduled appointment with little or no prior notice
disadvantages three people:
1. The Practitioner, whose time has been allocated to helping you;
2. Another patient, often desperate for an immediate or earlier appointment; and
3. Yourself: it is hard to get you back on track and keep you there if we don’t see you.
Keeping this in mind, our clinic policy regarding scheduled appointments
is as follows: If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment,
we require at least 24 hrs notices. If the notice is less than 24 hrs
we put your name on our “Short Notice List”. If your name appears twice
on the list, you are charged for at least one of the missed appointments.
Please understand that we would much rather see you and look after you, than
penalise you.
